How much do your homes cost to build?

Every Modish home is designed around the unique details of the site and the people who will live in it. That means cost can vary based on things like the shape of the land, the square footage, how complex the layout is, and what kinds of finishes and features matter most to you.

What we can offer early on is clarity. In our first conversations, we’ll help you better understand how your vision lines up with your budget and talk through what to expect as your project comes to fruition.

Most of our completed homes fall between $450 and $750 per square foot (not including land or soft costs). That includes design, drafting, engineering, material delivery, and our Lifetime Structural Warranty, exclusive to the Lindal system.

Do you work with clients who already own land?

Absolutely. Many of our clients come to us with land already in hand. One of the key benefits of a custom home is the ability to design it specifically for your site’s unique qualities, like the slope, views, sunlight, and access points. When you have a property ready, we begin by carefully assessing it with you, making sure your home’s design takes full advantage of what the land offers while staying true to your vision and budget.

What areas in Western NY do you serve?

We work with clients across the Hamburg area, including Pittsford, Fairport, Canandaigua, Webster, Brighton, and nearby towns. We also serve Hamburg, the Hamburg, Chautauqua, and beyond. Beyond our work in the local area, we also take on projects across the country. If you own property in another state, like a vacation home or a future retreat, we’re ready to help you design and build there too.

How customizable are your home designs?

Our homes offer a high level of customization to fit your unique vision. You can begin with one of Lindal’s existing floor plans and tailor the layout, materials, and finishes to suit your tastes. If you want more control, our Sketch Service lets you modify those plans or develop a fresh design based on your ideas and budget. For those seeking a truly unique home, our design team works closely with you through a collaborative process to craft a custom plan perfectly suited to your site, style, and lifestyle.
